Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath_Madina_Peer (RA) who is buried in
the Dargah-e-Hazrath Dastaghir Saheb Baba (RA)

It is nearly 300 years since his Pardha. Hazrath Dastagir Saheb Baba (RA) has fore seen his death and has told his disciples not to conduct the Janaza (Funeral) prayers under any other Imam. Baffled disciples were much delighted when Hazrath Dastagir Saheb Baba (RA) himself appeared and disappeared after conducting his own Janaza prayer.

Urs/Sandhal Mubarak of Hazrath Dastagir Saheb Baba (RA) is celebrated every Hijri year, Rajab 3rd.

Dargah-e-Hazrath Dastaghir Saheb Baba (RA) is located at Triplicane, which is situated about a half km from the Bay of Bengal coast and Fort St George, one of the oldest central business districts of Chennai, South India.

Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Dastaghir Saheb Baba (RA)

Triplicane is called the Bachelors Paradise of Chennai. The locality has a large number of mansions - a local synonym for guest houses. Many of these are suitable for students, single professionals and visitors. Walking around the lanes of Triplicane during evening time, one is apt to come across hosts of youngsters conversing in a babel of languages - English, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam. The place is known for its educational book stalls and used bikes. Triplicane's Pycrofts Road is a mini T. Nagar where one can buy all kinds of garments and luggage.

In addition to that, Triplicane and Mount Dargahs are situated very nearby. Thus, you can reach Triplicane after finishing your Ziyarath from Mount Road Dargah.

City / Town / Taluk: Chennai.
District: Chennai
State: India.

Name of the Dargah: - Dargah-e-Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (Rahmathullahi Alaihi) urf Annasalai (or) Mount Road Dargah.

This is the most famous Makham of all Chennai Dargahs and attracts people of all faith from all walks of life including music director, A.R. Rahman, who visits every Thursday, Arcot Prince, High Court Chief Justice and various famous icons of various industries.

Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (RA) arrived from Baghdad Shareef in the middle of the 17th Century (450 years back) and lived on the site of what is now better known as the Mount Road Dargah. In life, Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (RA) is said to have had great healing powers. When he died, he was buried next to his house and here his family raised the Dargah Shareef. And to it have flocked the sick over the years, seeking the benefits of healing from his spirit.

When a British engineer in the past ordered the shrine to be demolished for road-widening, his workmen refused to proceed with the work when, at the first attempt at excavation around the building, blood spurted from the soil. When the engineer forced them to resume work, he collapsed - dropped dead, say some - the moment trenching began again.

It is the faith in Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (RA) that draws people of all faiths to the Dargah Shareef every Thursday, seeking assurances of good health, answers to their prayers and the blessings of the holy. The Dargah Shareef, looked after by the descendants of Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (RA) from the time his Dargah was raised, is however, only a part of the campus today. Dominating it in recent times has been one of the largest mosques in South India, with a 100-feet tall minaret. The five-storeyed Makkah Masjid, with its five 5000 sq.ft. halls that can accommodate 5000 worshippers at a time, may be a landmark, but it is the spirit of Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (RA) that make this, one of the city's holy sites.

The Minar-e-Pak at Dargah-e-Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (RA) is quite prominent apart from the LIC building and the Tarapore Towers in Mount Road.

Dargah-e-Hazrath Syed Moosa Shah Qadri Baghdadi (RA) is located in Anna Salai, formerly known as Mount Road, is the most important arterial road in Chennai, India. It starts at the Cooum Creek, south of Fort St George connecting with St. Thomas Mount in Saidapet. This 15 km stretch of road running diagonal across the city has become the hub of business for the city. It has been developing in a large pace in the past century. The British developed this road during the colonial era, and they named it as Mount Road, after Little Mount, till which the road extends. Later on, the road was renamed as Anna Salai by ex - Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The word 'Salai' in Tamil translates to road in English. Anna Salai is maintained by the National Highways Authority of India. This is the only road in Chennai where lane system of traffic is followed.

Needless to say, anywhere from India, you have access to Chennai through air, roads and railway. If you are reaching Chennai via bus, please get down at Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT), Koyambedu and from there, please pick up a bus for "Anna Salai urf Mount Road and ask anybody about the Dargah and they may guide you well.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ashiq-e-Mehboob-e-Subhani (Rali), Qutb-e-Qalandhar of his time, Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Saheb's (Raliyallahu Thaala Anhu Va Rahimahu) Mazar-e-Mubarak is located in Royapuram, Madras, Tamilnadu.

Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali) had the deepest love for Qutb-ul-Aqtab, Hazarath Ghous-e-Pak (Rali). He has sung so many songs on Allahu Jalla Jalaluhu Thaala, Rasul-e-Kareem Sallallahu Alaihi Va Sallam and on Hazarath Ghous-e-Pak (Rali). Every word in those songs is an ocean of Irfan.

What a lay-man will understand by reading the above lines. That's the height of love, Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali) had towards Parwar Digaar-E-Alam, Allahu Jalla Jalaluhu Thaala.

Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Qadir Masthan (RA),
the beloved husband of Madhar Bibi_(RA)

He lowered his Nafs in that way. He used to say - there is no sinner in the world but I'm the greatest sinner. He says - "Our body is septic tank" which our toilets are connected to. In all the possible ways, he had lowered himself in front of ALLAH, Rasul-e-Kareem, Sallallahu Alaihi Va Sallam and Ghous-e-Pak (Rali) that nobody can do.

SubhanALLAH. I can't express his Darajah/Makham/Heights he achieved in Wilyath. So many Awliyah-ALLAH used to go very deepest in the jungle and tried to meet Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali) to convey salam and on the way, many Awliyahs died as well. Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali) used to be in thorns in Zikr status. He didn't marry because of the love He (rali) had towards Mahboob-e-Subhani (Rali)

Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali) requested ALLAH to hide his Makham and want to be away from Dhuniya even after his Pardha. Very few may guide you when you go to his Dargah in Royapuram, Madras.

Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Madhar Bibi (RA), the beloved Khadim
of Hazrath Kunangudi Masthan Saheb (RA)

It's a very very very simple Mazar-e-Mubarak but Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali) is the Qutb-e-Qalandhar of his time undoubtedly. He got Baiyath directly from Ghous-e-Pak (rali). He (rali) used to call Ghous-e-Pak (rali) as Kunangudi (meaning - the one where good character stays ) so Ghous-e-Pak (rali) kept the same name to him (rali) while giving Baiyath.

His height of Wilayath is the highest of the highest of the highest of the………………………………………….go endlessly…SubhanALLAH…I will talk for years about Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali).

Everest is a tiny particle in front of the love Hazarath Kunangudi Masthan Sahib (Rali) had towards Ghous-e-Pak (Rali). He says to Ghous-e-Pak (Rali)

"You will control crores of Dhuniya (which ALLAH has created) in your hand as ball and play with it"

"You will shake the 7 Dhuniyas (Which ALLAH has created) and play with them on youn hand"

Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Ibrahim Saheb (RA), who didn't speak after
Hazrath Kunangudi Masthan (RA) questioned him
whether he would speak or not.

"You will stitch Dhniya/Aahirath into an Atom and play with it"

"You will insert the 7 seas into a mustard and stir them"

"Please come in front of this Ghulam "

"I am becoming the worst and worst even after I submit myself in your holy feets"

"You're the Badhusha and my Peer-o-Murshid, in whom good character (kunangudi) stays"

Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Sheikh Abdul
Qadir Urf Pulavar Nayagangal (RA)

Hazarath (Rali) used not to wear any dress but used to close his hygienic part alone. He used to live in the deepest/dreadful jungle area where even Animals will fear to live. Thorns are his houses where he (rali) used to be in Zikr status. Qutb of Qutbs in his lifetime. World No.1 lover of Ghous-e-Pak (Rali)

About Chennai:- Chennai, formerly known as Madras, is the capital of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Located on the Coromandel Coast of the Bay of Bengal, Chennai has an estimated population of 7.5 million (2007), making it the fourth largest metropolitan city in India. The name Chennai is an eponym, etymologically derived from Chennapattinam or Chennapattanam, the name of the town that grew up around Fort St. George, built by the British in 1640. There are different versions about the origin of the name.

The city was established in the 17th century by the British, who developed it into a major urban centre and naval base. By the 20th century, it had become an important administrative centre, as the capital of the Madras Presidency. The city was officially renamed Chennai in 1996, about the same time that many Indian cities were undergoing name changes because Madras was seen as a Portuguese name.

Bus services to Chennai: - Needless to say, anywhere from India, you have access to Chennai through air, roads and railway. If you are reaching Chennai via bus, please get down at Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus (CMBT), Koyambedu.
