One of the most famous Dargahs of Sahabi-e-Rasool Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam is of Hazrath Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) located in Parangipettai shareef and it's fondly called as "Kandeduttha Dargah Shareef' by local people. It means "the Dargah shareef that was found". There are 360 Dargah Shareefs of Auliyas in Parangipettai and they followed Hazrath Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) footsteps and settled over here. Undoubtedly, Dargah-e-Sahabi-e-Rasool Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam enjoys the toppest place in the order of all 360 Dargahs of Parangipettai and is famous from the 7th Century which was when Hazrath Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) arrived at Parangipettai along with his beloved disciple, Hazrath Syed Saheb Ganj (RA) who is also buried near the Sahabi-e-Kiram.

Sahab-e-Kiram, Syedina, Hazrath Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) is one among 313 Sahabas who participated in Jang-e-Badr (Badr War) and he is the only Sahabi-e-Kiram, who obtained the golden opportunity of kissing Mehr-e-Nubuwwat Mubarak of Syedina, Imam-ul-Mursaleen, Shafeeh-ul-Mudhnibeen, Rahath-ul-Ashiqeen, Shams-ul-Arifeen, Siraj-ul-Salikeen, Misbah-ul-Mukarrabeen, Tajdare Anbiya, Ahamed-e-Mujtaba, Hazrath Muhammed Mustafa Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) belonged to the tribe of Baddu in Arab community and was in the Khidmat of Rasool-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam. He is one of the greatest and distinguished ashiques (Lovers) of Rasool-e-kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

During the last Sermon prior to performing Hajj, Hazrat Syedina Rasool-e-kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam called all the Sahaba-e-Kirams and people for an open announcement in Masjid-e-Nabawi Shareef asking that they can come in front of Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam,

if Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam ever cheated anyone,
if Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam ever done wrong to anyone,
if Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam ever beaten anyone,
if Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam ever had dues with anyone,

On the contrary, nobody came in front. During the announcement, Hazrat Nabi-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was on the camel surrounded and guarded by Ameer-ul-Mu'mineen, Syedina, Hazrath Umar Farooq (Razi Allahu Tha'alah Anhu Va Rahimahu) and Ameer-ul-Mu'mineen, Syedina, Hazrath Ali bin Abu Tâleb (Karam Allahu Wajhah) along with many other Sahabai-e-Kiram. After the announcement, Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam waited for a while for Sahab-e-Kiram and people to respond and suddenly Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) came in front and told Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam that he was once beaten by him and he wanted a justice for that.

Having heard it, all the Sahabas became stunned and their anger rose. One of the Sahabas went to the extreme and took the sword to kill Hazrath Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) at this situation but Rahmath-lil-Al'ameen, Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam came down from the camel and asked all the Sahabas not to interfere between him and Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen). Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) went on explaining that when he was without a Jubba in the masjid standing for the Jamaat in the first saf, Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam instructed him to stand straight and make proper saaf for the jaamat, during the occasion, he was beaten. After hearing it, Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was about to remove his Jubba Mubarak, Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) said that he was beaten by a rope which was at the home of Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, who in turn ordered Islam's First Muezzin, Syedina, Hazrat Bilal Habshi (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) to bring the rope (Kolda) from his house.

When Syedina, Hazrat Bilal Habshi (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) went to the holy house of Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam, he explained the complete incident to the daughter of Rahmath-lil-Al'ameen (Peace and Blessings be Upon him), the Queen of Heaven, Hazrat Syeda Fatima Tu Zhara (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) and to her holy sons, Hazrath Imam Hassan ibn Ali (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) and Hazrath Imam Hussain ibn Ali (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen). All of them started crying and said to Hazrat Bilal Habshi (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) that they would accept the beatings from Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) since Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam was suffering from illness during his last days and then they gave the rope.

After taking the rope, Hazrat Bilal Habshi (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) rushed back to Masjid-e-Nabawi Shareef where everybody was awaiting him and gave it at the sacred hand of Huzoor-e-Kareem Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi Wa Sallam who in turn gave it to Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) and asked him to beat but the later told that he was without Jubba when he got beating, then Rasool-e-Khuda, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam removed his Jubba Mubarak. Oh! SubhanALLAH, that was the situation Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) had been longing for, then he threw the rope and kissed the Mehr-e-Nubuwwat with Adab with excitement that stretched in his every drop of blood and cried like anything and ran away from that place and came to India.

After the incident, Rasool-e-Khuda, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam tightly hugged Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) and said the holy news that the later would enter Jannath. Hearing the news, all Sahaba-e-Kiram went ecstatic and whole Masjid-e-Nabawi shareef was plunged into an elated status.

Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) said about the Meher-e-Nubuwwat that he had seen it many times when he used to do Khidmat for Rasool-e-Kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam and was waiting for a holy time to kiss that for years. And, Meher-e-Nubuwwat was in the form (shape) of half White Egg and around which, there were small sacred hairs. There were names of Allahu Jalla Shanahu Tha'ala and Hazrat Syedina Muhammad Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam.

There were about 1, 24,000 Sahabi-e-Kirams present during the last sermon and many were sent to different places for the sake of spreading Islam. And among them 40 sahabas were Hafeez-e-Quran-e-Kareem. 313 Sahabi-e-Kirams participated in Jang-e-Badr and a very few famous names are listed in Hadees Shareefs. 10 sahabas were promised Paradise (Al-Asharatu Mubashshirun or Al-Mobashareen Bel-Jannah) while living itself.

Zikrullah is the main thing with the love of Rasool-e-Kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam and with the love of his Family (Ihl-e-Bait-e-Uzzam) and with the love of his friends (Sahaba-e-Kira'm) and with the love of Makkah Shareef and Madina Shareef in the heart. The way of success is only the one: To Rasool-e-Kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam. This is the way to Janna and the way to the Creator of Janna, Allahu Jalla Shanahu Tha'ala.

Billions of Ashiques of Rasool-e-Kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam cry whenever they listen to the waqiya of Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen). Even many great scholars, peers / mashayaks who are Ashiques of Rasool-e-Kareem, Sal-lal-lahu Alaihi wa Sallam cry on this great love of Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen).

Parangipettai has been visited by Ghous-ul-Zaman, Ganj-e-Sawayik, Qutb-e-Tamilnadu, Hazrath Shahul Hameed Badusha Nayahangal (RA) Urf Hazrath Qadir Vali (RA) of Nagoor Shareef.

Important Note: - In different books, the waqiya of Kissing of Meher-e-Nubuwwat and the love of Hazrat Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) are similar but there is a difference in the places where the incident of kissing occurred but ultimate conclusion is that everywhere the Kissing of Meher-e-Nubuwwat and the love of Hazrath Syedina Ukkhasha (Rizwan Allahi Thaala Alaihim Ajmaeen) is very famous.

About Parangipettai:- Parangipettai (historically called Porto Novo, is a panchayat town in Cuddalore district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Parangipetta is situated on the north bank of the mouth of the Vellar river at a distance of 30-km from Cuddalore. It has an interesting historical background.
