Hazrath Peeran Shah Maaboodh (Rahmathullahi Alaihi) was a great Auliya of his time, buried in Ramnagar, Mandya District in Karnataka. His wisal took place 131 years ago.

Hazrath Peeran Shah Maaboodh (RA) has reached greater heights in Tasawuff and Ma'rifat, quoted by Khwaja-e-Bangalore, Hazrath Khwaja Mehboob Ali Shah Chisty urf Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA), who is buried in M.R. Pallya, Bangalore.

During his early life, once Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) went to Mysore jungles. There he saw a group of Tigers surrounding Hazrath Peeran Shah Maaboodh (RA) whose legs were burning in fire. When the former (RA) was passing by, the later called and said - Lalu, come inside, I am here, don't worry, I am waiting for you only. After the meeting, Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) involved himself in the service and khidmats of Hazrath Peeran Shah Maaboodh (RA). During this period, Hazrath Khwaja Lalu Bhai Qasir Chisty (RA) was blessed with a great faiz from this great Auliya in the jungle.

Subsequently, Hazrath Chaddar Wale Baba urf Hazrath Abdul Ghafoor Shah Qadhiri (RA) became the mureed of Hazrath Peeran Shah Baba (RA). The Mazar-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Chaddar Wale Baba (RA) is in Hazrath Kambal Posh Shah Qadhiri (RA) Dargah Compound, which is located on Broadway Extension, Shivajinagar, Bangalore. Hazrath Chaddar Wale Baba (RA) was a Majzoob Buzurgh and was also good reciter of Quran-e-Kareem (Qari). When he used to walk reciting Qirats in majzoobiyath, a white Chaddar used to fall on the road. Moreover, people used to hear a very nice and beautiful qirat when he used to walk in the night times.

Hazrath Peeran Shah Maaboodh (RA) spent most of his life span in Mysore's deep jungles where he used to be surrounded by a group of tigers.

It is witnessed even today that people from various societies/religions/castes especially Hindus, who have a great respect for Hazrath Peeran Shah Maaboodh (Rahmathullahi Alaihi), come to his Darbar shareef to get blessed and solve their major problems they experience in day-to-day life.

The Urs-e-Mubarak of Hazrath Peeran Shah Maaboodh (Rahmathullahi Alaihi) is celebrated in the month of Jamadh-ul-Awwal 4th. The Urs attracts a vast number of Ashiq-e-Auliyas from the different parts of South India.

As one enters the town, she/he will find many rocky hills on the both sides of the road.
